Please see below for a list of common questions regarding coaching.

FROM OUR TEAM STAFF POLICY (#10):
10.4.3.1.3. IN CASES WHERE A TEAM IS ADVANCED (SEE 8.0 TEAM ADVANCE-RETREAT POLICY), THE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ORIGINAL TIER WILL APPLY.
As a coach, you likely have two different accounts which keep track of your training. If you are locked out or can’t remember how to log in, DO NOT create a new account! If you did create a second account, let us know and we can combine the profiles so that all the information is in one profile only.
Which account do you need help accessing? Ringette Alberta should be able to reset either one with the right information. Read below.
COACHING ASSOCIATION OF CANADA (THE LOCKER)
Your www.coach.ca profile is also known as your Locker and this is where official records of courses you’ve taken will appear. This will show your Professional Development (PD) points and statuses as well. On the login page there is an option to look up your NCCP# which you can try.
If that isn’t working, or if you know you used an old address that you won’t be able to access, you can email Bronwen to get an account reset. In your email be sure to include your full name, your NCCP# and/or your date of birth, and the email address that you want to be used.
Your www.coachingringette.ca account is used to register for Ringette-specific courses, and to keep track of what might be required in your province in addition to the Coaching Association of Canada’s.
For a reset, email Bronwen and include your full name, date of birth, and the email address you’d like to be used.
To complying with clause 10.4.8 of the Team Staff Policy:
You are not required to alert Ringette Alberta, but if you do, you shouldn’t expect a response. We can refer to it later if need be.
We recommend informing the team you’re playing against prior to the game, even in the lobby when you exchange game sheets. Tell them that your female coach is absent and it falls under RAB’s policy for Acceptable Absences. This avoids everyone losing time due to petty complaints issued after the fact. If you’re at a tournament, we recommend informing someone on the tournament committee as well as the other team’s coach(es).
You CANNOT replace a missing coach, male or female, with anyone who is not on your TRF.
Managers and on-ice assistants are not allowed on the bench during games, and neither female trainers nor junior coaches fulfill the qualified female coach requirement.
