The Ringette Alberta Cup program is designed to further enhance the development of Athletes and Coaches. Those who attend will participate in a well-organized and equitable skill development camp with the intent to prepare for Ringette Canada Junior National Team, Alberta Winter Games and/or Canada Winter Games.
This is an excellent learning opportunity for all participants, and a chance to be a part of a truly enjoyable event. Athletes are given the opportunity to receive a high level of instruction and skill/fitness assessment. The participants will meet other athletes from all over the Province and learn about the different ways they can work, both on and off the ice, to improve their game.
The 2020 camp is open to all Athletes born 2001 – 2005.

RAB Cup will be being used as a pathway to La Releve. La Releve is a High Performance Development program put on by Ringette Canada. It is an opportunity to train for a weekend in a high performance environment with members of the Junior National Team coaching staff and developing coaches. It is also a chance for up and coming athletes to be scouted for future national team programs. Athletes wishing to attend La Releve will be scouted at this year’s RAB Cup and later invited to be one of the Alberta athletes attending. Details relating to selection is available on Ringette Canada’s La Releve page.
La Releve 2020 is also cancelled at this time, due to COVID-19. Cost to attend will be $500 – athletes will be responsible for their own travel and accommodations. Ringette Canada will provide lunch and recovery snacks each day, as well as a t-shirt, all classroom sessions, fitness testing, post-event feedback, 3 practices and 3 games for each.

- A member in good standing with their local association and an athlete in good standing with Ringette Canada
- Eligible to represent Canada at the World Ringette Championships; this requires the athlete to be a citizen of Canada.
