Due to COVID restrictions, coaching and officiating clinics are being run online. There is a trained instructor who is responsible for all course material and content and a moderator who supports the technology associated with the online delivery platform.

Ringette Alberta is looking for reliable, tech-savvy (or tech-confident!) individuals to assist as moderators for officiating and coaching clinics throughout the 2021-22 season, and possibly beyond.

This is a PAID position, $25/hr.
This is a work from home position, there is no travel.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
Applicants must have access to a computer as well as a headset (speaker/microphone).

The online platform used by Ringette Canada for clinic delivery is Adobe Connect, so any experience with that would be considered an asset, but is not required. Applicants should be comfortable with technology, and have good trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of ringette is an asset but not a requirement.

Successful candidates would complete a few hours of training (provided at no cost) and then sign up on a first come-first served basis for open clinics.

Each clinic session ranges from 3 – 5 hours on a weeknight (starting as early as 5:00pm MT, ending as late as 10pm MT) or weekend day/evening (anytime between 8am – 10pm), and moderators would be expected to be there for the duration of the 3-5 hour session.

There is no minimum expectation of hours per person to work, nor can we guarantee that everyone will have an opportunity to work a clinic.

Deadline to apply is Monday, September 27, 2021 at 4:30pm MT.
